Firstly, we will learn about the brief working principle of the ore beneficiation production line. Minerals are crushed firstly by the jaw crusher to particles with certain fineness, the elevator transports materials into the ball mill for further grinding. Fine minerals ground by the ball mill will experience classification. The spiral separator will separate mineral mixture according to solid particles’ different proportions and depositing speeds in the liquid.
The beneficiation production line can be divided to iron mine beneficiation, gold beneficiation, copper mine beneficiation and molybdenum ore beneficiation production lines. The common ore beneficiation methods include magnetic separation and flotation separation. Here we will focus on the magnetic separation process. The magnetic separation process is mainly made up of vibrating feeder, chute feeder, jaw crusher, vibrating screen, ball mill, classifier, magnetic separator, concentrator and drying machine with the feeder, lifter and conveyor as the auxiliary equipment. The magnetic separator features are high efficiency, low energy consumption, strong processing capability and economical effect.
The general conditions of magnetic separation are as follows: mineral grains are stressed by the magnetic force and mechanical force when passing the magnetic field. The magnetic force searched in the strong magnetism frame is greater than the mechanical force and the non-magnetic ore particles suffer little magnetic force, thus finishing the ore separation process.
